Many children struggle because they don’t have life’s basic necessities. It is stressful on many levels not to have adequate clothing to attend school. We, at Dress 4 School Success (D4SS), collect donated clothing and make it available for any students grade K through 12.
Dress 4 School Success has space provided by Trinity Church (Hobbs House, 200 High Street, Hampton) where parents and students can come shop for clothing. The best part is that it is FREE. Through community donations our non-profit organization provides this service for those in need. This is a completely confidential program.
How can you Help? Monetary and donations of new and gently used clean clothing are always welcomed. All clothing should be appropriate for school. Clothing or donations can be dropped off at any of the Hampton schools guidance departments or at Hobbs House (200 High Street, Hampton). D4SS is a non profit 501(c)3 organization, therefore all donations are tax deductible. D4SS is run 100% by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at the e-mail address listed below.
How do we help? Please pass along our offer of services to anyone you feel may benefit. This service is completely confidential. Clothing can be selected or donated at Hobbs House, 200 High Street, Hampton, NH (hours Tues and Friday 11 to 1 or by appointment). This program serves communities far beyond.
About D4SS: This program was developed in 2011 by two Hampton Girl Scouts as a community service project. Aidan Kittredge and Anna Ciolfi organized D4SS as a charitable clothing drive to earn their silver award for Girl Scout Cadettes.
Thanks to Aidan and Anna this program has served numerous students and continues to grow.
